We are looking for a highly creative yet data-driven, passionate Social Media Coordinator to join our NY-based Team. The ideal candidate has a deep curiosity for understanding the digital landscape of wellness/lifestyle brands, specifically The Class by Taryn Toomey community.

• Passion for the By Taryn Toomey lifestyle and brand
• Passion for social, digital & new media technologies; passion for photography
• Comfort taking feedback with grace and professionalism
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced start-up environment
• Excellent written communication skills - both conversational and digital fluency
• Understanding of social media platforms - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn etc
• An elevated creative eye & understanding of what is cool vs. cliché

• 10 hours per week in Tribeca office
• Act as an internal social media support - identify trends and new social platform offerings to ensure The Class by Taryn Toomey is a social innovator
• Gather content
• Inform the strategic vision for social media (including content, channel and engagement strategies)
• Educate and  encourage The Executive & Teaching Team : social media support, weekly updates on trending topics & social media tools
• Create social media - writing copy, compiling Teacher inspiration, sourcing on-brand photos and videos
• Manage our social media content calendar across ALL channels
• Manage day-to-day posting of approved content on company channels
• Manage direct communication with our community across all platforms and report engagement trends
• Help protect the brand voice & identity across social media channels


We are looking for someone with experience running the day-to-day operations of a small office, including its basic financial functions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced start-up and be inspired by the energy and passion around them.

Ability to perform in a fast-paced start-up environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
A lack of preciousness -- no task too big or small
An aptitude with numbers
Comfort with financial documents
Experience managing one or more people is a bonus

• Support the logistics of all company programs
• Manage employee on-boarding & off-boarding
• Invoicing, bill paying, reviewing credit card statements, overseeing teacher pay
• Organize and manage office operations, supplies and procedures.
• Design and maintain Human Resources systems for company
• Tracking compliance by each employee of all policies
• Decide on and buy all necessary software and hardware
• Track and enforce all contracts with employees and contractors
• Act as liaison with corporate business partners: Justworks, Insurance Brokers, Bookkeepers, Accountants, landlords
• Oversee corporate card use and all bills
• Maintain the physical office space

Our front desk staff will work closely with the Studio Manager and Executive Team in an inspiring, fun work environment to ensure that clients are happy and the studio remains immaculate.

• Greet, check-in, and welcome clients for class
• Deliver excellent customer service and hospitality to clients
• Clean and prep studio, including mats, floors, and mirrors
• Clean, prep, and stock common areas, including bathrooms, locker area, front desk, and office
• Support instructors with class setup, breakdown, or client questions
• Be knowledgeable to answer questions regarding The Class method, schedule, retail offerings
• Assist Studio Manager and other staff member with daily studio tasks, checklists, and projects
• Report any questions or issues to Studio Manager in timely manner
• Help keep track of inventory and supplies
• Assist Studio Manager with training of new front desk staff
• Help maintain the aesthetic and atmosphere for The Class


We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented individual to support our Teacher Training Team at The Class by Taryn Toomey.


• 5-10+ hours per week in Tribeca Studio
• Passion for the By Taryn Toomey method, lifestyle and brand
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced start-up environment
• Proficiency with Dropbox, G-Suite, Pages, Excel and Social Media platforms
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Natural problem-solving instinct with ability to anticipate potential action points or requests


• Work closely with our rockstar Teacher Training Team - Taryn Toomey, Jaycee Gossett & Courtney Deri
• Manage and organize all Teacher Training inquiries
• Act as act liaison between trainee applicants and The Class by Taryn Toomey Teacher Trainers - compiling and communicating relevant details about The Training as needed
• Coordinate schedule of auditions, callbacks, training sessions and final reviews
• Manage Teacher Training calendar for Trainees, Trainers and local Studio Manager(s)
